(UPDATE) SIGNIFICANT road closures around the University of Santo Tomas (UST) and San Beda University campuses are scheduled for September to facilitate the peaceful and orderly administration of the 2025 Bar examinations, the Manila Police District (MPD) said Saturday.

Extremadura Street will also be closed from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m.
Motorists are advised to use the alternate route from Dapitan: turn right to Lacson Avenue, then left to Laong Laan Avenue to reach their destination.
Near San Beda University in Mendiola, a stricter closure scheme will be enforced from 2 a.m. to 7 p.m. on the same dates.
The affected areas include: Mendiola Street from the Peace Arch to Concepcion Aguila Street. Both vehicle lanes will be closed to unauthorized traffic, and the lanes on the San Beda side will also be closed to all pedestrians.
Concepcion Aguila Street from Mendiola to Jose Laurel Street will be closed to all unauthorized vehicles and pedestrians, except for residents.
To accommodate examinees, one eastbound lane on Legarda Street (from San Rafael Street to Mendiola Street) will be dedicated as a drop-off and pickup point. The main ingress points for stakeholders will be the Main Gate on Legarda Street and St. Bede’s Gate on Concepcion Aguila Street.
